President Trump sent half-a-dozen U.S. attorney nominations to the Senate Monday, ramping up efforts by the White House to get important legal positions filled as the administration moves into its eighth month.
Here's the list, provided by the White House:
-Scott W. Brady, of Pennsylvania, to be United States Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania for the term of four years, vice David J. Hickton, resigned.
-Bobby L. Christine, of Georgia, to be United States Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia for the term of four years, vice Edward J. Tarver, resigned.
-David J. Freed, of Pennsylvania, to be United States Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania for the term of four years, vice Peter J. Smith, resigned.
-Andrew E. Lelling, of Massachusetts, to be United States Attorney for the District of Massachusetts for the term of four years, vice Carmen Milagros Ortiz, resigned.
-Stephen R. McAllister, of Kansas, to be United States Attorney for the District of Kansas for the term of four years, vice Barry R. Grissom, resigned.
-Ronald A. Parsons, Jr., of South Dakota, to be United States Attorney for the District of South Dakota for the term of four years, vice Brendan V. Johnson, resigned.
Earlier this month, the President sent nearly 40 nominations for various diplomatic and domestic positions to Capitol Hill for confirmation. The list included ambassadorship appointments for Germany, Djibouti, Angola, Zambia, India, Croatia, Estonia, the Swiss Confederation, Niger and others. You can see the full list here.
My name was left out of the list but private mail me and I’ll give you all my information. Meeting with the big guy later this week. :)

If memory serves Clinton fired all US Attorneys his first week in office. Trump should have done the same.
The senate, both the Rs and the Rats, will slow-roll all of them. Maybe by the time 2020 rolls around, they will have been on the job just long enough, maybe a month or so, to be fired by Kamela Harris.
I guess they can get someone to do two jobs for the price of one just for ready access to Swiss chocolate.
