I’m with you. This nation had herds of bison roaming throughout. Why not bring them back. Ship these animals somewhere and repop.

Now I know it would be difficult to herd wild bison into corrals and then trailers, but it isn’t impossible..................

Nobody would want them. They are not pure bison. Brucellosis would be an issue.

On the other hand, they would be delicious.

Most of their territory is populated now. Do you have room for a couple in your backyard?

I believe Bison carry a disease called brucellosis that would be harmful to our beef herds. Bison are magnificent animals, however. I got up close to a small herd a few weeks ago in the Black Hills, totally cool.
