One would hope that those people who jumped,fell out accidentally or were pushed (yes,it could have happened in the confusion and desperation) would have died of a massive heart attack or stroke before they hit the ground.Given that their blood pressures would have been off the charts thanks to fear and pain such a scenario is a real possibility.

Unfortunately, that they died before they hit is wishful thinking. There are any number of clips of people struggling, while falling, right up to the moment of impact. Sky divers, suicides, ejecting pilots, mountain climbers, people who just slipped, from high places.

The human fight to survive is universal and very stubborn.
