I’ve heard that Montana has a strong libertarian streak in their politics. So though while frequently Republican in presidential elections, local elections there are a different story.
That’s what I’ve heard anyway.
Pretty much true, save the far left, socialist counties of Deer Lodge (Anaconda), Silver Bow (Butte) and Missoula (Missoula).
