Montana is very red state. No, it's not. The state has had a democrat governor for twelve years now, and the (vile) incumbent would win this year too if he were up.
The eastern half of the state is still conservative, anchored by Billings (the state's largest city), with its oil, manufacturing and ag economy.
Travel west, where the Californians, Coloradans, and trust- and hedge- funders are more and more prevalent, and the outlook changes.
Bozeman went dem in the recent congressional election, as did Helena, Butte and Missoula.
President Trump crushed Hillary but every other statewide election has been close in recent years.
Hell, the Repub gubernatorial candidate (now our lone congressman) LOST in 2016, even with Trump up by 20 percentage points.

Right. The Willie Nelson libertarian types will just laugh it off or shrug it off as so much foolishness, but Christians have a higher view of humanity, according to which this transgender stuff is mental illness, sin, or a combination of both.
In my view, the whole gay/transgender thing is the Devil's attempt to separate Christians from the rest of society with the eventual goal of ostracism and outright persecution.
