In his first extensive interview since leaving the Trump administration, former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is speaking out about President Trump's decision to end the DACA program. The Obama-era policy protects nearly 800,000 undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children from deportation.
Bannon spoke to Charlie Rose in an interview that will air this Sunday, Sept. 10, on "60 Minutes."
Steve Bannon: Look, what he did on DACA the other day. Okay, I don't agree with that DACA decision, but I understand how he struggled with it, I understand how he's giving the possibility of a legislative thing. And he said even last night in a tweet even in a tweet, he would rethink it. Trust me, the guys in the far right, the guys on the conservative side are not happy with this.
Charlie Rose: Can I remind you, a good Catholic, that Cardinal [Timothy] Dolan is opposed to what's happened with DACA? Cardinal Dolan.
Bannon: The Catholic Church has been terrible about this.
Rose: Okay.
Bannon: The bishops have been terrible about this. By the way, you know why? You know why? Because unable to really to to to come to grips with the problems in the church, they need illegal aliens, they need illegal aliens to fill the churches. That's it's obvious on the face of it. That's what the entire Catholic bishops condemn him. ... They have they have an economic interest. They have an economic interest in unlimited immigration, unlimited illegal immigration. And as much as
Rose: Boy, that's a tough thing to say about your church.

Yup....same thing I said after the DACA Be Gone announcement.
“As much as I respect Cardinal Dolan and the bishops on doctrine, this is not doctrine. This is not doctrine at all. I totally respect the pope and I totally respect the Catholic bishops and cardinals on doctrine. This is not about doctrine. This is about the sovereignty of a nation. And in that regard, they’re just another guy with an opinion.”
Nice.
It’s true. It does.
Well he’s right.
It’s not just Catholics. The Lutheran Social Services also has brought in Muslims and illegals and is paid by the head to settle them wherever they can sneak them in. The Baptist church was being paid in TX to set up the detention centers for the thousands of illegals that flooded the southern border two summers ago. They all claim they are “doing God’s work,” but would they be doing it if the US taxpayers were not paying them?
“Well hes right.”
Brace yourself. This place is infested with people who believe we live in the United States of the Vatican.
“Catholic Church has Economic Interest in Unlimitied Illegal Immigration”
Well... duh!
The flak is heaviest over the target.
“Its not just Catholics.”
Not nearly on the level that Catholic Charities does business.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/sep/24/catholic-church-collects-16-billion-in-us-contract/
...Catholic Charities received nearly a quarter of its funding from government by the end of the 1960s, more than half by the late 1970s and more than 60 percent by the mid-1980s, the level where it has remained ever since...
...Much of this $1 billion in annual revenue goes to voluntary agencies (VOLAGs), several of which are Christian non-profits, such as Catholic Charities, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, World Relief Corporation, Church World Service, and Domestic and Foreign Missionary Service of the Episcopal Church of the USA. (also referred to as Episcopal Migration Ministries), who are contracted on behalf of the government to help these refugees get settled in their new homes in America...
Well of course the Catholic Church is globalist and wants New World Order...they can then be the only religion in the world, so Frankie thinks...
In reality, IMO, all churches want immigration, it builds their banks...the Mormon Church in Utah is one of it’s biggest supporters...
Yes, and it is a scam on we the people. If we ask politicians who is paying for all this for illegals, ETC. we are told religious charities are doing it. We are not told they are contracted and paid by the government with our tax dollars! Most of the church members think their churches do this out of goodness and grace with church monies. Total deception, corruption.
I think it’s time to pull the tax exempt status on them...this is BS. Not with my tax dollars!
I just wish he would have brought up the government contracts. Few people on social media seem to have any idea what he is talking about. He said they were doing it to fill their pews...He was right, they do have economic interest in illegal immigration but surely he can make the case better than that.
Catholic Charities bringing in Latin Americans at least makes bottom-line sense when you consider that the vast majority of Latin Americans are Catholic, will attend Catholic churches and contribute in the collection basket.
How bringing in Muslims benefitted the Lutheran Church totally escapes me.
Yup. Those government contracts that go back to George W. Bush (there’s that name again) and his “Faith-Based Initiative”.
I heard that Mormons also receive huge “resettlement” fees, particularly for muslims.
Yes another reason Bush was not my favorite President. Many things he did made the immigration/open border issue far worse.
Bush felt personal empathy for illegals because he was raised with an illegal housekeeper/nanny that he loved dearly. He refused to understand that illegals are not all like her, and second some times nice people are criminals- we still need to enforce our laws.
The Catholic Church has been infiltrated by the Social Justice Communists. Jorge Bergoglio is the papal head of the effort and the Catholic faithful have been kept in the dark with their true intentions.
