Bias is everywhere. I show my bias when I choose a female wife. I show my bias when I don’t hang around guys that only talk about football.

In a free country you have a right to actually act on your biases.

Kentucky Fried Chicken is biased against hamburgers. McDonalds is biased against pizza.

I demand that McDonalds carry pizza, because it's closer than the Pizza Hut down the street and I shouldn't be made to have to walk three blocks to get a slice of pepperoni!

Bias is not a bad-word. It means preference, nothing more. It’s not good to be biased in an objective investigation, one is biased against bias in that case. Otherwise it’s a basic function of live down to one-celled animals, attraction vs. aversion.
