“The luxury home of billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson in the British Virgin Islands was destroyed by Hurricane Irma”

GOOD!

Branson thinks he’s so smart. Smart people evacuated.

...

Well, he is getting millions of dollars of free publicity with this latest stunt, and he was in no danger whatsoever.

Let's get to the important stuff: is Kim Kardasian's ass bigger today?

Indeed...that and who/what else is racist today!

You mean like the hurricane that sank the Atocha and the Spanish treasure fleet in 1622 and the GREAT HURRICANE of 1780? 22,000 dead.

Branson has had other disasters bring down his property on that island in the recent past:

I wished him no harm and still do not, yet I consider him a fraud.

...

Yes, he’s phony, but he knows how to turn publicity into a fortune.

“I bet he got a great view of the Eye of the Hurricane.”

So he has another captivating adventure story for the cocktail crowd.

That’s probably why he went there and rode it out. Unless you’re a reptile it’s too hot this time of year.

I’m the last one to bash a rich guy for being rich, but I wonder what goes through his mind when he hears the Bible verse:
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”

Apparently his elevation was high enough so he wasn’t drowned in his cellar by a storm surge. Just guessing.

If Branson was smart and truly believed in Global Warming, he would have a mansion in Greenland.

He can’t be that smart. It’s an island so there’s no back door escape with the natives get restless. His locally hired staff will turn on him in a minute.

Well, I don’t disagree.

But animals in the wild face constant threat and danger every minute, every day.

I have to admit that I don’t know where flamingos actually live in the wild...but I would suppose that on average a bird does better under Branson’s roof.
