Apparently his elevation was high enough so he wasn’t drowned in his cellar by a storm surge. Just guessing.
He can’t be that smart. It’s an island so there’s no back door escape with the natives get restless. His locally hired staff will turn on him in a minute.
Well, I don’t disagree.
But animals in the wild face constant threat and danger every minute, every day.
I have to admit that I don’t know where flamingos actually live in the wild...but I would suppose that on average a bird does better under Branson’s roof.
