“Judge Ralph Strother should be recused from this case,” a supplemental motion filed later by Gotro states. “His comments and his actions have demonstrated he is either unwilling or unable to remain fair and impartial in this case.

“Further, Judge Strother’s blatant bias for the state and equally blatant animus for the defendant and his counsel have reached fever pitch and are so extreme they have resulted in an outright denial of defendant’s rights to counsel, effective assistance of that counsel, due process and due course of law.”

Typical defense lawyer BS. Emotion-driven motions are effective about 2% the time. They sound great in the newspaper, but have little effect on the courts. Used when they know their client is guilty so they hope they can get a delay after delay in hope the public loses interested.

It’s simply, the druggie motorcycle scum are going away big time. It’s only a matter of time.

Yes. I’m sure the Wildlife Refuge trial, Duke Lacrosse, Ruby Ridge and others were chalked up in the same fashion by other boot-lickers too. I mean, the State is as pure of purpose as the driven snow, no?

So much for the presumption of innocence. Surprising the Fascism one promotes when it’s vs. ones own ‘peeve du jour’
