Oh I’m paying very close attention and again time will tell. While there may be many here giddy within some fantasy that something meaningful has been accomplished there are some that are happy with the tenor thus far but await “real” results not fluff, fun words, rallies, getting our rocks off over this tweet or that but real deal results.
We are still on the cusp of bankruptcy as a nation, are healthcare is going down the tubes, dreamers are still here, the wall has not been built and the swamp is as deep as ever. I don’t blame Trump he has a huge hill to climb. However he will at some point have to get meaningful legislation passed.
Ryan was on TV yesterday saying his Congress is one of the most productive yet???? These guys are utterly delusional.
I have no doubt that some are jolly with just words, I don’t count myself among them. I see a bunch of liars and cheats who effectively hem him in at every turn. To your point, I am not among those who desire a constant stream of EOs so I’m left wondering how the heck anyone can get anything meaningful passed!
I’m curious how you would navigate these hostile waters. There are so many moving parts and endless dirty players that I can’t imagine there are any simple answers.
You are most correct. He definitely has an uphill battle. The only advice I’d give is continue with the rallies but also make primetime addresses as Reagan had. The best way to get things accomplished is to use the bully pulpit; something Reagan did quite effectively. No way the media can twist his words when on camera in front of a nation
