The city of Chicago saw 30 people shot between Friday and Monday morning, with four fatalities and 26 casualties in hospitals around the city.

When I hear the ratio of shootings to deaths, I have to think that’s either pretty poor shooting or that this is due to skill of modern emergency room doctors and nurses.

As of 4:30am this morning, it was 34 shootings with four homicides included.
The tally for today, which is part of the weekend, is not included.

Shot & Killed: 441
Shot & Wounded: 2137
Total Shot: 2578
Total Homicides: 478
Jesse Jackson and Jeremiah Wright have nothing to say apparently, even though this is mostly black people.
