From August 1 to August 31:

1244 ISIS gang members have been killed. (40 per day)

Almost 2,000 civilians rescued.

Sounds like a little more than 50% of ISIS in Raqqa has been killed this past month. That is impressive statistic.

And we have not a peep from the media but more importantly, we hear the same from the administration. That is a twofer as the media will not report anything positive and our guys supporting this can operate without the distractions and nannies trying to run their operations while looking over their shoulders.

What is also not being reported are the operations chasing ISIS who left Mosul and sought refuge in Tal Afar who are now caught between the forces moving south from cutting off the Raqqa ISIS groups and those liberating Tal Afar. Most of which are being targeted in convoys as they try to run.

There are almost daily report by the joint strike force website http://www.inherentresolve.mil/ (and @CENTCOM @OIRSpox on Twitter). It comes out of their operation in Iraq for both Iraq and Syrian operations. This is the first time I’ve seen the ANF report it themselves.

We are getting near the end of ISIS in Raqqa. The actual number of them left in Raqqa is still unknown.

You are correct. If our main stream media reported on this conflict they would get in the way of the progress, distort reality to suit themselves and become accomplices to the enemy.

The only people who do a good job of reporting in the conflict in Syria are embedded there and have been for a long time. Obama and Congress played footsie with every Jihadi they could hire to take down Assad. Assad is not a good guy and is partnered with Iran. But the result of our Obama effort was ISIS. This goes back to Benghazi and Gaddafi’s overthrow. Weapons flowed from Benghazi to Syria via Turkey.

Same pukes forced out Hosni Mubarak in Egypt and stole the election there to put Mosi and the MB in power. El Sisi and the Egyptian people ruined that for Obama and friends.

But in 8 months in office Trump’s administration is close to ending ISIS in Syrian and in Iraq. That is a major accomplishment.

The Tal Afar conflict should be murkey for a while. Iran is a very bad player in this. Friends have told me that 1/2 of Assad’s SAA is Iranian. It doubt it is that high, but it is a large element. Iran and Assad is an odd paring. Iran’s military has had contacts with both of the leaders in Turkey, Iraq (including Kurds), Assad and Saudi Arabia (that is wild). Russia has long had ties to Iran. This is a wild game of chess.

It is good our “media” stayed out of this. There were elements of the MSM in Syria near Raqqa back a couple of months ago. They had to make a rapid exit when ISIS snipers zeroed in on them. Have not heard from them or seen evidence they are there again.

There are a few regional news sources that do a good job. But the reports have to be filtered by people on the ground in Syria. That is the only way to fully understand what is happening. Our military does exactly that. And I think they have done an excellent job in this conflict.

The Kurds and their friends have been excellent allies.

Soon, the problem of hammering out a peace agreement will have to take place. This is not come from the UN. (thankfully)

You’re over the target. I spent 18 months in Iran, mostly Teheran, but still have always followed events in that area since I left in 74. Apparently they are now being threatened as the RG had to utter some stupidly vapid statement about their being attacked and the battleground area would not be isolated to their borders. Its amazing how their bluster never changes and just how right they are but in a totally inverse proportion to their projection.

Assad, Iran, Russia all saw what we helped the SDF do in Raqqa. Their intelligence officers no doubt recorded some of the actions.

They have a glimmer of what we are able to do if forced to.

I hope Assad and Russia are asking themselves “why did I align with Iran”. Assad thought he had no other option, he may not have had any. We for very bad reasons, grabbed foreign money to help put Assad out. Yes, Assad is a bad guy. Yes, he was aligned with Iran.

But Obama, start to finish was a pact with the devil. It colored every thing he did.

Trump IS NOT Obama.

“Trump IS NOT Obama.”

Nowhere close to an understatement. We know the key for us goes back to Qaddafi. He was threatening to only sell his oil for gold and that would upset the entire WTO cabal. BTW, you forgot to add McCain to the list of those complicit in his ouster along with the subsequent Benghazi scam.

Oh, Yes. McCain and many many more.

In the past I realized how long the list actually was.

A number of years ago, I called John Cornyn’s office about this matter. The response made it totally clear that they were aware and were complicit in this mess. We don't need a ComDem to replace him, but he is bought too.

Most are. That is not an exaggeration.

I look at them not as bought but free agents to do the marketing for their corporatist masters. They are just the ones who must sell what they claim they are writing.

“corporatist masters”

Are not Capitalists. Are Global Fascists.

When the Global Fascists write the legislation sold by lobbyists, the effect is long lasting destruction. I can give you some direct examples of that which affect the entire nation and the food supply system. Frightening thought. Not reactionary perception, but sobering.
