The Bundys tried to steal use of our public lands after previously paying grazing fees. The wrapped themselves up with armed insurrectionists, rejected federal authority, and now rightly sit in jail.

In the 1770s you would have been a loyalist screaming about the dignity of the monarch and his God-given majesty and right to rule. Sad.

The crux of the problem is that in Nevada the federal government owns 84.5% f all land in the state which gives them way too much power that they a is and it blatantly unconstitutional.

This map shows why the good people of the western states are tired of the federal government power grab:

And yes, as a conservative, I am thrilled that the government has that control of the ownership, it’s too bad that they didn’t keep or gain ownership of other lands further east. I grew up out West, surrounded by national force in public lands, and cherish them for that sake.

Yes that is the original cause of the problems, it was never intended for the federal government to own so much land. We are talking about issues that should have been settled many years ago, the feds were supposed to get out of the land ownership. Other than National Parks and Monuments and things like that of course. Liberals always love to say conservatives want to sell the Grand Canyon to developers. It is not about that at all.
