Many ‘Scottish’ nationalists are not Scottish or even British (disgraceful that Cameron allowed the SNP to put their thumb on the scales for the 2014 referendum by giving the vote to 16 year olds and EU citizens).
In addition to the ‘Germans for Scottish Independence’, there were at least ‘Americans for Scottish Independence’, ‘Polish For Yes’, ‘Eu Citizens for an Independent Scotland’, ‘Scots Asians For YES to an Independent Scotland’ and (of course) ‘Irish For Yes’; and the Daily Mail reported that ‘Eastern Europeans will vote “Yes” in the upcoming Scottish independence referendum’.
There is the Australian Brains family of SNP activists: we could send them down for up to 10 years under the still-law Aliens Restriction (Amendment) Act 1919:

And this is where the issue expands beyond provincial British politics, as this cowardice affects all the West’s ‘right wing’ parties, all standing like a rabbit caught in headlights as the Left ploughs towards them at full speed. Mark Steyn and Ann Coulter have repeatedly pointed out that we’re playing our enemies’ game for them. Robert Dabney even pointed this out all the way back in 1897: Conservatives have never conserved anything. ‘[C]onservatism is merely the shadow that follows Radicalism as it moves forward towards perdition. It remains behind it, but never retards it, and always advances near its leader.’ (Discussions, vol.4, p.496)

Thank you for explaining. I knew absolutely nothing of this ongoing dispute. I do know that, unlike most Americans, Europeans have very long memories in reference to history.
However, in a very similar manner as present day America, many politicians are more concerned about being politically correct than calling out evil when it stares them right in the face.
