The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) has said there are at least 380,000 people that are seeking refuge in Europe every year, and the European Union should work to take in more migrants.
Currently, the EU is increasing the number of asylum seekers it takes in through legal channels at a rate of 20,000 per year, but the UNHCR said the increase is not enough. The group has called for a double-digit increase in numbers and said the new proposal to accept migrants in Africa could facilitate a growth in numbers, Austrian newspaper Kurier reports.
Ruth Schöffl, a spokesman for the UNHCR, said: “We welcome these new ideas as we expect the number of resettlements to increase.”
“The possibility of resettlement is naturally linked to the fact that the illegal migration is stopped,” she added.
Schöffl touted the “stability” of Europe compared to other parts of the world saying: “Europe is very stable compared to other continents, there are more than one million refugees in Uganda alone.”
Not everyone is happy with the new plan to have asylum seekers in Africa make their claims in Africa before coming to Europe.
Pro-migrant activist group ProAsyl slammed the policy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel saying: “It is inconceivable that the Chancellor has betrayed European values in such a way and then talked nicely pretending that it does not exist.”

Europe is committing genocide. All the European conquerors and soldiers and thinkers are spinning in their graves. In 50 years the continent will be overrun with Muslims and Africans and their off-spring. This is what happens when you refuse to procreate.

A few centuries ago Europeans did colonize what later was called the Third World, which enriched those European countries greatly. Post WWII they could no longer maintain control of their colonial holdings, and the Third World `nations’ retaliated with their only resource - their exploding populations.
Combine this with cynical European politicians, Merkel being the worst, and the floodgates opened with governmental approval and even encouragement.
Reverse colonization is well underway. Germany is nearly finished as a culture & people. Poland and Hungary are determined to hold out against the Muslim hordes, but for how long?
This is how European democracy will end.
Nationalism is the enemy of globalism. Using immigration as a method of replacing the existing populations in Europe and the U. S. is how the globalists plan to enter a post democracy era. The immigrants will cancel out the votes of the actual citizens. Controlling them will be easier.
At this rate, they'll be switching places in a generation. Like ships passing in the night, so to speak.

It is lunacy, such as what is stated in the article, that long ago convinced me that the UN desires the destruction of civilised society.
Get the U.S. out of funding anything in the U.N. outside of the U.N. Security Council. Everything else U.N. related is a waste and a boondoggle for international professional bureaucrats. There are plenty of Christian and secular NGOs for “refugees”. And most “refugees” today are merely economic opportunists.
I doubt it would happen. Merkel and her fellow travelers are very good at buying off leaders in unhappy countries.
In 10 years, Europe will be breed out.
OK, then the home countries can also have 380,000 migrants, right?
