WASHINGTON — Paul Manafort's notes from a controversial Trump Tower meeting with Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign included the word "donations," near a reference to the Republican National Committee, two sources briefed on the evidence told NBC News.

The references, which have not been previously disclosed, elevated the significance of the June 2016 meeting for congressional investigators, who are focused on determining whether it included any discussion of donations from Russian sources to either the Trump campaign or the Republican Party.

If there is a note in there saying;”You gave Hillary donations why not us?” LOL it would be worthy of news.

“Manafort spokesman Jason Maloni told NBC News that “it is 100 percent false to suggest this meeting included any discussion of donations from Russian sources to either the Trump campaign or the Republican Party. Mr. Manafort provided the Senate Intelligence Committee with the facts and his notes so this speculation and conjecture is pointless and wrong.””

Oh, the media is having a collective gorgasm over any possible allegations of “donations” from Russia!

Just think about the headlines and slobbering media honchos, if Manafort had written “bribe.”

Complete silence, when it is revealed that what he actually wrote was “Russian bribes to Hillary were all disguised as donations to the Clinton Foundation.”

I hope everyone remembers that Manafort didnt help Trump to beat Hillary.

He helped Trump to beat Jeb Bush , Ted Cruz and the GOPe and after Trump secured the GOP nomination Manafort then left the campaign. Which I believe he was working gratis

So this relates how to “ election hacking” simce we were continuously told Trump had no chance vs Hildabeast

That certainly makes sense, given that Trump, Jr. and Manafort were allegedly lured to the meeting on the promise of receiving evidence of Hillary wrong-doing. The Russians might have said something about how illegal donations to Hillary were sourced and structured, or Manafort might have jotted “donations” down as a reminder to press for information.

The value of the story is that someone is still leaking (note how leaking dried up substantially after Priebus’s departure). Are the leakers on Mueller’s pro-Hillary staff or are they Congressional/Senate Committee members/staffers? If Mueller wants to charge someone with a crime, he should be indicting them soon. He surely knows who was “briefed” on this detail.

This looks like an intentional leak. It also looks like there are two leakers.

Is NBC playing ball? Interesting. Maybe that’s why Sessions called the “no more leaks or you go jail” press conference at the beginning of the month? He was threatening the media.

Hey you __cker Mueller! What about Hillary and Uranium One?

The FBI needs to be taken down. Sessions is useless.
