By the way, a parent doesn’t have to do all or even most of the teaching. Tutors and retired teachers can be employed on a per diem basis.
We chose to home school and there are a multitude of on line classes, textbooks, training aids and everything you could possibly imagine for anyone to homeschool with ease.
There are college which will provide a full DVD course for each year with the same teachers who are on the DVD available for online or telephonic help if the child needs it.
All the way down the price list to youtube videos of classes where you can learn anything if you want.
While many aspects are better, students still need to be taught academics.
We are placing far too little emphasis on actual knowledge and too much on social aspects that children do not have the maturity to understand.
My children have attended a private Christian school, and have also had CCD and various other educational programs in 3 different RC parishes (all in the Northeast). My oldest daughter went to a Catholic private college for two years before transferring out this year.
If you think Catholic education will teach the truth about LGBTQ, I think you are dreaming.
It may be if your children get private lessons from Raymond Burke that they will hear the truth, hear the gospel proclaimed, and understand that changing your sex is impossible.
But if they are taught by randomly-selected religious and clergy, the chances that they will be taught the LGBTQ catechism are very high, IMO.
