Paul Ryan’s GOP Quietly Boosts H-2B Visa-Worker Program
Breitbart ^ | August 30, 2017 | Neil Munro

Posted on 08/31/2017 5:23:06 AM PDT by C19fan

The latest 1,305-page draft House appropriations bill for 2018 uses a bureaucratic trick on page 732 to help employers cut wages for foreign H-2B seasonal workers — and indirectly, also cut wages for American workers. “Republicans in Congress still haven’t got the message that voters sent last November,” said Rosemary Jenks, director of government relations for NumbersUSA. She continued:

The Uniparty working overtime to serves their cheap labor corporate masters. When the Chamber of Commerce calls Paul Ryan asks "How High".

Ryan and Mitch McConnell are in the pocket of the Chamber of Comerce. It is a shame the COC has been taken over by liberal pro-illegal forces.

Physical pressure. People are going to have to show up and protest right in front of their lying treacherous faces.

And Mitch wants you folks in Alabama to send another Chamber of Commerce crony to Washington Luther Strange.

Roy Moore’s opposition to gay marriage upsets big business elites, the same big business elites that want cheap labor across borders so every American worker, including LGBT workers will work for less money.

The new language would help employers minimize wages for H-2B workers by allowing them to cite the results of skewed “private wage surveys” of local wages. The results of the surveys would be cited in the H-2B request instead of the actual “prevailing wage” rates for local Americans working the free market for labor.

So if they will do that for H-2Bs then why should we believe that they won't do the same with H-1Bs? And further price U.S. workers out of jobs?

They are just catering to who they work for.

The corporate lobbyists.

Their corporate lobbyists are mad at Trump so they do not work with Trump.

Simple as that.

Explain to me the mental acrobatics I need to do to vote for a Republican against the will of the American people? Why won’t the Democrats pick up this issue and run with it?

GOP, take note: Yes, we hold our noses and choke down the chit sammich when it is a choice between a RAT and a RINO. As long as you hold both Chambers, that MAY continue to be the norm. But Heaven help you if the RATs take over because at that point, there is no longer a need for the GOP. It will be time to rebuild a true Conservative party to reclaim the Country, or what will be left of it.

I understand the need for a program which allows for the immigration of skilled workers. However, the wages paid for those workers should not be used to lower the wages of the US worker. At a minimum, the wages should be paid at the median salary plus 10% with an additional 10% levied on the business.

When you look at McConnell’s voting record and compare that to his campaign promises, I’m surprised the people of KY continually put him back in office. He is a back-stabbing traitor to us conservatives.

“Republicans in Congress still haven’t got the message that voters sent last November,”

Republicans in Congress WILL NEVER get the message. They are deceitful and corrupt.

I will be voting against Luther Strange. There are a few reasons but one of the main reasons is Mitch McConnell’s support for Strange.

Mitch kept Chris McDaniel from getting elected in Mississippi with his senate PAC money. I will be happy to see Mitch boys Strange and Flake get booted. We need to try to defeat any candidate Mitch supports from office.

There is nothing conservative about the GOP yet many voters still buy into that false notion. The GOP caves into the Democrats and media on every issue, and worse, they have made no effort to halt the rapid decline of this country. Even when they are “in power” they allow the Democrats to be the de facto majority and set the agenda. So what’s the point of voting for the GOP? The party is soulless and has demonstrated time and time again that it does not deserve our votes.

We need a new, conservative political party that will actually represent us.

Oh they got the message alright. These Cheap Labor Express whores simply don’t care. They’ll line their pockets any way they can if people keep putting them in office.

McCain, Flake, Graham, Ryan, McConnell.....

McCain I’m so sorry I had no choice but to vote for you in 2008. You are a traitor and a whore and a scumbag.

Yes, we do, and I wish Sarah would step up and get that ball rolling. The time to start is now. It could endorse conservatives running in Republican primaries, perhaps a more formal version of the Freedom Caucus, and build a presence in Congress. At some point, elected Reps and Senators could change parties to the new one and we'd still have a majority by way of caucusing until the old GOP dies off like buggy whips.

Yup. Mr. Limbaugh has been more and more blunt-spoken about this. They answer to the donors, not to you or to me.

An amendment to the immigration law would tie many visa categories to the local (local where the employer is seeking the visas) unemployment rate.
