Over the years I've read about devastating floods in the rural areas of the upper Midwest, Dakotas, Minnesota. In every case there was no looting. Business owners returned to their stores after a couple of weeks, and all the cash was still in the till, and all the merchandise remained on the shelves.
"It's a white thang, you wouldn't understand …"
In my town I would expect the same thing—no looting ever.
If I didn’t believe that I would find somewhere else to live.
The looting is likely being done by the Katrina trash that blew in and stayed. Looter Guy’s relatives.
