Firing someone for their beliefs has to be a violation of labor law. If not I'm shocked, considering the enormity of nondiscrimination laws on the books.

Kinda goes without saying that the seriousness of the charges only ever goes one way.

In my experience whenever some progressive has “finally” started to care about misdeeds because a conservative or Republican is involved, and I point out past examples of when they haven’t been upset in the least but have circled the wagons instead, said progressives always take it as if a diversion tactic rather than me challenging them that they should be upset at all, the gall and hypocrisy of their offense.

Though sometimes I’m not that subtle and simply congratulate them for finally caring about wrongdoing in high places....

Last I looked neither SJWs nor “snowflake” is a protected class. Those folks should be unemployable.

A more important irony in all of this being that in some real ways, ultrawealthy conservatives and Christians bear some of the responsibility for this now unchecked discrimination and liberal groupthink.
For the last four decades plus, when the opportunity came to buy a media outlet, many chose to sit on the sidelines and let wealthy liberals grab yet one more subset of the megaphones of our nation.

This guy is spot on. For all the wealth a lot of individual Conservatives, they sit on their hands and keep their money locked in a vault until they die. And then they hand almost all of it over to some leftist university to get a building named after them. I've seen this happen on any number of occasions and just shake my head in disbelief.

Anyone who claims the current-day USA is governed by “rule of law” is deluded.
