telling the audience a 'personal, raw, detailed and surprisingly funny story'

I think I'll take a pass, Hillary. Any sentence that combines "raw" with "Hillary" is one that is likely to produce projectile vomiting.

In fact, I'd pay $1200 just to get out of going to this event.

I will be watching to see how long it takes, before her new book can be found on the book table in a dollar store.

LOLOL!

Seriously, a couple of years ago I was in a dollar store...here in Canada, the land that loves Democrats...I swear, there were PILES of Hillary's last book, all stacked up and marked down!!!

I had to laugh. Even Canadians want nothing to do with her.! ;)

LOL! I am getting an image of an Al Jolson (sp?) type, sticking her head out from behind the curtain. ;) The woman is exceptionally talented. LOL!

Anyway, she is "the smartest woman in the world." (tm)

The comments are hilarious. Hillary will once again have to pay people to show up. Geesh can’t she just stay at home. She’s disgusting. These liberals fools that want to give her $1200 should go for it.

Just stay out of the mosh pit in case Hillary falls off stage. Those catheters can really spray like a wild hose.

Yesterday Hillary signed copies of her book at a Barnes and Noble branch in New York City. Seeing the homogeneity of those lined up inside to each get a copy of the book signed, it seemed to me that this was a paid group. I saw only one middle aged person, a woman. The rest could very well have been hired as extras to show up. They absolutely wouldn’t rely on the chance - likelihood - that the “crowd” might have been no more than a dozen or two. During the presidential campaign the numbers that showed up for her were paltry. Yesterday, they were giving out numbers of 300 and 400. It didn’t look to me that the line was that long, but I saw only a 20 minute period inside the store. When a reporter brought his book for her to sign, he asked her why there was a spy ring in Congress, she cackled her creepy cackle and responded emptily, “You never know....” This can be seen on YouTube. It’s not unlikely that one person is fronting all the thousand plus dollar donations to try to leave the impression she’s still got a loyal following willing to dish out money to see her. Again, they would not take the chance that there would be pitifully few takers for this “great opportunity.” She really is pathological, to be impervious to how she comes off and particularly how bizarre and physically troubled she was during the presidential election.

New York's a big city with almost two million Clinton voters in it.

As for homogeneity, probably most of them were students or temps or part-timers or between jobs, and therefore young.

Is it really surprising that she could get two or even three hundred supporters together if she had the whole extended metropolitan area to draw on?

So we agree. No, I’m not surprised that 300 students could be hired to show up. It’s even possible that many in NYC would show up on their own, but Huma and company would not want to take a chance that only a handful would not be there. By the end of the day, according to a reliable source, the price of the book around the country had plummeted. Do you remember when the Clinton campaign had hired some big halls for the campaign and had to have everyone sit close in so the cameras could fake a crowd?

My guess is that the Clinton entourage post election have become mighty skittish about their ability to project how many people will both to show up for Hillary. The main reason for the appearances seems to be to get a redo.

I don't think we do agree. Wasn't Hillary planning to charge people for attending a lot of events. I don't know if these women paid to attend the signing, but I doubt most of them were paid.

It's not like Clinton was going to deliver a long, boring speech, was it? Just sign books, right? Half a million women showed up at the Pussy Hat Rally (or whatever it was called) in DC. Probably a large proportion of them were from Greater New York and the surrounding area, so it shouldn't have been that hard for HRC to draw a crowd of a few hundred.

Three hundred in a city of 8 million or a metropolitan area of 20 million isn't impossible, even for a politician who doesn't impress people who aren't already for her.
