Police say the abnormalities stretch back to 2000 at another clinic in Oldenburg. They said staff had a meeting there in 2001 to discuss the strange levels of deaths and resuscitations, but did not report the levels to police, and Niels H was able to move to the Delmendorst clinic.

And this is government health care, folks. When there is an incompetent employee in government (or an evil one, as in this case), they either promote him to a supervisory position or move him to a different agency.

On the bright side, the man was awarded a cost-saving medal by the national health bureaucracy. (no not really...)
