A supermarket in Germany has made a controversial point by removing all foreign products from its shelves.
The Edeka supermarket in Hamburg said that it wanted to confront racism with their own narrow-minded views and for a day sold German-only products.
On the shelves they had messages such as this shelf is quite boring without vaiety while the salad bar had a sign saying our selection knows borders today and the cheese counter said so empty is a shelf without foreigners.
That meant there were no Spanish tomatoes, olives from Greece and an all but empty cheese counter.

[ Supermarket removes all foreign groceries from shelves to make point about racism ]
BRILLIANT PLAN!!!!
Customers should now shop elsewhere FROM NOW ON to show their approval of the grocery store revealing what idiots they truly are.
I’d never shop there again.

Flood the market with refugees who have no money and let them beg or take the groceries. Then they can celebrate diversity.

What a stupid strawman.
Bet if they removed all products imported from the Middle East or Africa (where most of the so-called 'refugees' come from), one would barely notice.

What about Swiss? No.
Gouda? No.
Muenster? No.
Cheddar? No, it’s not very popular ‘round here.

Have the tomatoes and olives been raping the bread and milk...?

I’m confused. Isn’t having shelves filled with goods from other countries proof they are accepting of those cultures so much that it’s been integrated into daily life? This really seems to show who the real racists are and it’s not the people being targeted.
To: Trump20162020
to make point about that the word racism means absolutely NOTHING any more
To: Geronimo
The tomatoes detonate in your stomach, the olives remove more nutrition than they provide, and the cheese varieties won’t allow themselves to be in the same store as pork products.

How soon before Walmart, Safeway, etc cover up pork products so those muzzies won’t be offended.

you posted: “Muenster? No.”
When I was in Germany 25 years ago, the city of Muenster, and its cheese, was part of the country. Thus there should have been Muenster cheese on the shelf.

WOW - that's almost as brillant as ESPN protecting the fragile ‘feelings’ of football fans by pulling a middle-aged Asian man from being "on-air" because his name is Robert Lee...(Yes, fragile football fans might confuse a middle aged Asian man with a Civil War General - who's been dead since 1870 - - then again if you're watching ESPN YOU might be that stupid)

Those Germans would start making cheese fast if this were a permanent thing. Before long, they’d be pretty good at it, too.

The Edeka supermarket in Hamburg said that it wanted to confront racism with their own narrow-minded views and for a day sold German-only products. Deceiving the public. In a steady state condition in which only German products were normally sold, the shelves would be full of them, just as they were before they started buying these foreign made products.
It is in essence a propaganda lie designed to fool the gullible and easily manipulated.
I believe I would find a different store to patronize. You pull deceitful political stunts and I will believe you don't have my best interests at heart.
Sell the D@mned groceries and mind your own D@mn business!
