A statue representing service members in Veterans Plaza at Teague Park in Longview has been destroyed.
Air Force veteran David Applewhite of Gladewater, who is involved with the Veterans Recognition Foundation, posted a photo on his Facebook page of the overturned statue.
FOLLOW UP: Group pays to replace vandalized Longview veterans plaza statue "One of the statues guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier monument has been pushed over by vandals at the Veterans Plaza in Longview," Applewhite wrote. "Was not young children who did this."
Officials with the group who oversees the plaza later said the destroyed statue is not that of the Unknown Soldier, but that it represents every service member.
The veterans plaza, which was officially dedicated in November 2015, holds permanent markers for each American war since World War I.

Yes. Tell some idiot a statue of MLK is a statue of a KKK member and they’ll vandalize it.

The “revolution” is and has always been a communist insurgency, tailored against the US; the whole racism schtick is pure marketing. They have been at war with Western Christian values (self-reliance, capitalism, Christ-centric worldview, nationalism) since the beginning— so not any statue, just ones that remind us of our heritage and shared values.
Put some bear traps around these statues for these animals.
Any patriotic statue, or if any statue of a cis-gendered white male oppressor.
In the last week we’ve seen the following vandalized:
Lincoln (burnt in Brooklyn); Joan of Arc (splattered with red paint in New Orleans); Jefferson (national park service added a marker to the Memorial saying he sucked); Robert E. Lee (removed several places - legally and otherwise); and Chief Justice Taney (removed).
Oh add Columbus. Oldest Columbus statue in America was damaged with a sledge hammer. Another one had red paint thrown on it.
Lenin in Seattle. Someone put red paint symbolizing blood on his hands.
I’m surprised Goemert’s district, a place where there are many happy Christian minorities in this very Bible belt area. I guess there are always embittered vandals trained up by the MSM. If lawsuits could be filed against the MSM this crap would stop over night.

I hope that there is a group documenting all the destruction wrought by Black Lies, Antifa and others, as well as the wild, hate-filled, violent assassination talk by various Hollyweird and far left political types. All this should be hung around the neck of the DNC in 2018, with Kathy Griffin’s famous picture of her holding Trump’s head leading the way.
