CNN? Does he really expect to be treated fairly? The questions will be loaded and not substantive at all. But he’ll give responses while being made to look like a fool in an effort to try to get the CNN audience to like him. They won’t - this is a stupid thing to do and can only end badly.
He must think that he is giving the rebuttal as after the State of the Union speech.

Of course he does - and he will. He’s one of “them”. If Ryan were a conservative, I’d say, “Great. Go on CNN. Go where the sinners are and get the message out.” But he will go anti-Trump, GOPe, and that’s the end of that.
