Looks like it got the criminal thug’s attention. His pants stayed up, though, which helped while he was staggering out the door.

Certainly a good case for having one chambered. If you don't carry with one in the chamber you might as well just carry a two hole punch. This is an excellent example of a situation going south in a matter of seconds. And things can go south much faster than that.
