Do you dream of having your very own guest house in France? If so, check out our Property of the Week. Where is it?
The property is in a small, quiet village called Aigrefeuille-d'Aunis situated between the beautiful coastal city of La Rochelle (20km) and the picturesque town of Surgères (17km) in the Charente-Maritime department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of southwestern France.
La Rochelle International Airport is situated just 30 minutes away from Aigrefeuille d'Aunis by car, with flights to London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, Edinburgh and Brussels, among other international destinations.
How much does it cost?
It's on the market for 550,000 or £497,393 depending on exchange rates.
Describe the house:
This lovely property includes two beautiful stone houses, one a private residence with a large kitchen and lounge, and the other boasting five guest rooms, each with its own shower-room or bathroom.
The guest-room section, which provides an annual revenue of approximately 63,000, also has a large kitchen/diner with windows looking out over the heated swimming pool.
An outbuilding, currently used as a wellness room with sauna and shower-room/WC, could be changed into a separate living space.

Very nice
[ between the beautiful coastal city of La Rochelle ]
I guess the journey, though, was from Milan to Minsk.
Comes with a jihadi pool boy
I couldn't afford it though.
How much are muzzies willing to pay for temp digs?
Very nice.
Any—ahem—neighbors of a certain 7th century religion persuasion around?
The proximity to the International airport makes it all the more lovely.
Maybe traveling with children explains it, but I wouldn't hesitate to live in the south of France.
They say get outside of Paris, and French people are OK.
Muzzies in France we’re not so sure of.
Pay?
You gotta be joking
Most of them expect dhimmis to give them homes
And they do
I am in full on lust mode!!!!!!! I can put $1,000 down right now ; )
I don’t see a moat or gun turrets.
I see what you did there.
People keep calling me Gillooly!
Looks like the biggest thing in town is the cemetery
You might want to Google map it. All of the airplanes at the terminal of the ‘international airport’ appear to have propellers. They do have an Enterprise Rent-a-Car agency. The runway is about 7400 feet. They do show RyanAir and EasyJet service as well as Air France. So they may have some jets.
I'm sold....lols 😊
That region used to be British and the British still shop for properties there
Maybe we can get 26 freepers to go in on it and each gets two weeks a year. That’s roughly $20k a piece, owned free and clear. (we can negotiate it down a bit)
That part of France hasn’t been discovered by rapefugees yet.
