18000 feet. Compared to the Edmund Fitzgerald in about 530 feet at the bottom Lake Superior, the Titanic at about 12500 in the North Atlantic, and the Bismarck at 15719 feet also in the North Atlantic.

Thank you oil companies for developing the technology that makes such explorations possible.

Actually the guy that found the SS Central America, Tommy Thompson, developed most of that stuff.
