At least 33 people were wounded, 6 fatally, within 13 hours from Saturday to Sunday across the city in separate shootings, which includes an attack that left one man dead and wounded six other people.
On the city's Far South Side, a man was killed and six other people were wounded in a single attack about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of a banquet hall used as a nightclub.
They were all in a large parking lot when a man inside a black SUV opened fire at the crowd, police said. The shooter then drove off.
Six other people were shot during the attack. Police did not immediately have information about each victim's condition or which hospital they were taken to.
A 30-year-old man, a 32-year-old woman and a 33-year-old woman were each shot in the leg, police said. A 32-year-old man was shot in the abdomen. A 31-year-old woman was shot in the left leg, and a 36-year-old man was shot in the buttocks.
In other shootings:
a 17-year-old boy was shot in the right leg about 3:45 a.m.
a 34-year-old woman was shot in the right foot during a drive-by shooting
a 27-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot about 12:45 a.m.
a 20-year-old man was shot in the head in the 900 block of West 83rd Street

Long hot summer in Chicago continues....year ‘round. By the way, taking down statues of those raciss Confederates in Southern cities might help stop the black on black killings in the ghettos of cities in the North. Yep, that’s the ticket. Sigh.

I was under the impression that most of the killings in Chi-town were South Side? Map conflicts with my understanding. Only been there 3 times in my entire life. Once we hauled a load to Halstead Street. Not a pleasant area then. Worse now I suspect.
Might help if they pass more gun laws because the ones that are in place don’t seem to work.

Don’t even need to guess what city by just reading the headline anymore. I said Chicago as soon as I saw it.
That had been previously reported. It seemed that elitist Chicago was okay with the self-genocide of blacks as long is they kept it out of the "safe" neighborhoods.

Chicago is divided into 77 neighborhoods. There are only about a half-dozen or so neighborhoods (Such as Englewood and Austin) that commit the majority of the murders.
Nine killed last weekend and six killed this weekend in Democrat run Chicago, and all the left can talk about are some words omitted from a speech President Trump gave.
