Some schools here in IN are letting kids out in the morning so they won’t be responsible for the eyes of any possible kid getting damaged. Then my grandchild says she’s staying home because her mother doesn’t want her to participate in any activities conducted at the school during the eclipse time. The glasses aren’t made for children and mother fears kids will look above the glasses to view the event. Teacher can’t watch over 30 kids doing exactly what needs to be done for safety.(Her concerns-this is in Ky)

Sure, let them all go home so they can stare unsupervised for an hour or two at the sun. A better idea would be to give them a pop quiz over real Nazism and Fascism during the eclipse.

Face it, we’ve lost. Insanity rules.
