A group of alumni from one of the country's most influential evangelical Christian universities is condemning their school's president for his continued alignment with President Trump.
A small but growing number of Liberty University graduates are preparing to return diplomas to their school. The graduates are protesting university President Jerry Falwell Jr.'s ongoing support for Trump. They began organizing after Trump's divisive remarks about the deadly white supremacist protests in Charlottesville, Va.
Chris Gaumer, a former Student Government Association president and 2006 graduate, said it was a simple decision.
"I'm sending my diploma back because the president of the United States is defending Nazis and white supremacists," Gaumer said. "And in defending the president's comments, Jerry Falwell, Jr. is making himself and, it seems to me, the university he represents, complicit."

Ditto. My current job actually asked me to provide a copy of the MBA transcript when I went from contractor to full time employee. It was $15 or so for me to order on-line. Somewhere, packed in some box in the basement or the barn, I’m sure I have the original.
Yeah, I know, it probably has something to do with the lack of xxx diversity studies programs and other leftist claptrap at LU.
Liberty U should accommodate them and release a statement that they will do so by updating their records to show that those persons DID NOT graduate the University.
Life as a high school graduate, and fibbing on that employment app is a firing offense.
Accept the diploma and happily delete his name from the college records.

When they return their diplomas erase ALL records of their attendance.

I expect more from a FReeper. LU is where Conservatives go when we don’t want to kowtow to the Progressive Education Establishment to get our degree. I have a BS in Business Administration from Liberty.

Apparently Liberty University didn’t do a very good job of teaching their students to think critically and not just assume the media narrative was correct. Wonder is Romney and a few others are Liberty graduates too.
I went to a school in WA that closed. All school records went to the state education department. I can still get transcripts, it just takes a week or two for processing.
I would guess something similar would happen to Liberty's records.
