A group of alumni from one of the country's most influential evangelical Christian universities is condemning their school's president for his continued alignment with President Trump.
A small but growing number of Liberty University graduates are preparing to return diplomas to their school. The graduates are protesting university President Jerry Falwell Jr.'s ongoing support for Trump. They began organizing after Trump's divisive remarks about the deadly white supremacist protests in Charlottesville, Va.
Chris Gaumer, a former Student Government Association president and 2006 graduate, said it was a simple decision.
"I'm sending my diploma back because the president of the United States is defending Nazis and white supremacists," Gaumer said. "And in defending the president's comments, Jerry Falwell, Jr. is making himself and, it seems to me, the university he represents, complicit."

Hey, grant their wishes in full - cancel their degrees so that any records check will show that they did not graduate.

An NPR story and this kid is the only one, so it is a small, but growing number.
Diplomas are paper. I have no idea where mine is. For job applications I just wrote in my alma mater and degree received. Never was asked for the piece of paper and seeing as how I’m retired, never will again (most likely )
Actually with Trump’s school chapter 11, is anyone there to confirm whether someone went there or not?

I agree. The mass media has an attention span of a three year old. They will soon tire of this issue and move on to other irrelevant ones. The snowflakes will have had their 10 minutes of notoriety and will fade into the trash bin of history.

They will “return” a piece of paper but will NOT describe themselves as mere high school grads on job applications. Moreover when potential employees learn of their poor decision making skills that will give them plenty of free time.
Well, a diploma from a university isn’t worth much. What were the diplomas for? A six month Bible study?
