I admit I’m ignorant on the subject, but just passing on info from my husband with PhD in Optics (lenses, mirrors, etc., for defense contractor). Also, I read a bunch online because my sister was asking.

I think it’ll be interesting — maybe fun — to get feedback on the experiences of all of us once the eclipse is over.

Eclipse was the most hyped event of my childhood. Was retarded what a big deal is made of it. I remember feeling a bit duped afterwards. Then came y2k...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the latest weather reports for the eclipse path from as far west as at least Nebraska to Charleson, SC predicts it will be mostly cloudy on Monday.
