Sooooooooooooooo, what did people do back when there weren’t any news stations, you know, back in the stone age....what did people do back then? How many people went blind because they looked up? How many cows, horses, dogs, lions, etc went blind because they looked up at the sun? Hmmmmm? Inquiring minds wanna know.
Animals aren't curious about the sun getting darker and funny shaped so they are no more likely to stare at a partial eclipse than the unenclipsed sun every other day of their lives. Human curiosity is the problem.
Back in the day, people knew better than to look at the sun. You had to be simple to stand here and stare at the sun.
“How many cows, horses, dogs, lions, etc went blind because they looked up at the sun?”
None, they are smarter than that.
They’re already saying to bring in your furbabies so they don’t go blind.
Sure, because they’ll lay in the yard and stare at the sun just waiting for the eclipse.
