The media just can’t stop lying about President Trump’s views on racism and hatred.
The media has been awash in praise for the joint statement that former presidents George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush put out on Wednesday concerning the violence in Charlottesville. The statement was viewed as a rebuke of Trump’s statements.
The Dallas Morning News headline said, “Former presidents Bush rebuke Trump's neo-Nazi stance.” The New York Times called it “a rare joint rebuke of Mr. Trump.” The New York Times praised George W. Bush for leading the condemnation of former KKK leader David Duke in 1991, and then accuses President Trump of being “equivocal in his public or private statements against white nationalists and other racist organizations.” The Times alleged Trump is “embracing” America’s “racially charged past.”
This all comes despite the Times’ Julie Davis quoting Trump as saying last November, “I disavow and condemn them,” in reference to a neo-Nazi conference in Washington, D.C.
But the strange thing about the Bush statement is that it so closely parallels Trump’s own statements. They wrote: “America must always reject racial bigotry, anti-Semitism, and hatred in all forms.” How is that fundamentally different than Trump saying on Saturday, “We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides…. It has no place in America.”
What about Trump’s statement on Monday? “As I said on Saturday, we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence. It has no place in America. And as I have said many times before, no matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws.” Or Trump’s statement on Tuesday? “I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because . . .

And yet when you stand back and look at them, Maxine Waters as the best example, you can easily recognize who the loons are.
Donald Trump is not a racist and neither are most conservative Americans. As a person who lives in a liberal, very multicultural area — I notice that a lot of the boy-who-cries-wolf “you’re a racist!” types are elitist white LIBERALS projecting their OWN racism onto others.
Unfortunately, I have to be reminded that even on this board FreeRepublic — not everybody is a Christian and some people do hold views on race which are contrary to God and Scripture (Jesus was a Middle Eastern Jew let’s remember) — but that doesn’t mean they don’t have the right to their beliefs.
I also agree that Trump has to recognize that he can’t condemn nor violate people’s right to protest and that the counter-protestors were indeed egregiously behaving as well. He was right to wait till all the facts come in and was right to decry hate from all sides. He has nothing to apologize for with regard to his response.
His policies improve the lives of ALL Americans from every race...and if anything the improvement of the economy, the diminishing of strangulating political correctness — this will lead to more peaceful race relations in this country. It’s the liberals who’ve stirred the pots of discontent and hate — not to mention their tolerance for Islamic terrorism is abhorrent.
When will the right learn? No matter how much yo disavow, no matter how much you claim you’re not ‘racist’. It doesn’t matter. It is exactly how they control the right.

The Bush statement did not mention or reference Trump at all...I missed the media reporting they released a statement “rebuking” Trump...doesn’t surprise me though.

The rats are afraid that a large % of blacks in the inner cities will wake up and start listening to Trump. Then, they will turn on their overseers and the rats who have rewarded their overseers.

This week, I have had 3 people from 3 families ask me how to cut their tv cable. All 3 are Comcast users, and like us their monthly bills are over or approaching $250/month.
No one in those families watches the nightly, morning or noon news any more. Faux news cut its throat last year with these people.
The left wing tv mediots will be trying to devour the other liberal markets and left over customers as more of us cut our cable or just stop watching them insult us and president.
