By "our side", I assume you're talking about talk radio and Faux Snooze, et al. The hell if I know. I wonder the same thing myself.
The only thing I can come up with is that this kind of information shuts down the argument and "our side" would rather arguing about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin in order to keep people tuned in.
As far as I'm conerned, Mark Steyn summed it up perfectly a couple of weeks ago when he said, "When DemocRATS are in power, they plot to overthrow foreign governments. When they're not in power, they plot to overthrow the American government."
Boom. End of argument.
