(Reuters) - The White House lawyer brought in to deal with special counsel Robert Muellers investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election said he believed the focus of the probe was "narrow" and the aspects related to President Donald Trump should be completed before the end of the year.
The lawyer, Ty Cobb, who joined the White House staff on July 31, made the comments in interviews with Reuters on Tuesday and Wednesday. He declined to provide specifics backing his outlook, which contradicts media reports that the scope of Muellers probe is expanding and the views of several outside experts that the investigation is likely to continue well into 2018.
"I'd like to see the president out from under this by Thanksgiving, but certainly by year end," Cobb said, adding that he would be "embarrassed" otherwise. "I think the relevant areas of inquiry by the special counsel are narrow."

There are lots of forms of thinking.
“Wishful” is one of the more popular types.
Wishful thinking.
Now that Mueller has an office and a staff of Clinton lawyers, he will work until he gets something or someone.
Meanwhile real criminals, like the Clintons, Susan Rice, , loretta Lynch, and Lois Lerner, will all get away with it.
Laws dont apply to liberals.

Sure. That’s why the estranged husband of Manafort’s daughter is being investigated.
"We've picked the guilty target, now we will work on manufacturing the crime."
Jay Sekulow said virtually the same thing a few weeks back on Hannity in regards to the scope of the investigation.

Wishful is one of the more popular types.”
The lawyers are in contact with Mueller so I would think they know something. Also who in the Trump circle was being interviewed.
“Ty Cobb laughed in other teams faces, then slid away to steal more bases.”
