Slight correction, it is about erasing white male American History (which is admittedly about 95% of it), of course historically significant blacks, Native Americans, and women will still be celebrated (no statues of George Washington Carver, Harriette Tubman or Geronimo will be coming down).
For example, these groups have already turned against "problematic" white democrats like Andrew Jackson and Woodrow Wilson and even now even the President that ended slavery Abraham Lincoln is a target. I doubt it will be long before they start going after more modern monuments to the likes of World War II generals and even progressives like FDR, after all they are just "old white guys" as well...
