What the hell can we do about California? We can’t even get a candidate up for Senate. They now have it so that two Democrats can run against each other. What the heck is that? Perhaps we should do that in some deep red states. Why does California get away with that and why can’t we get away with it?
“All I can do is send money. I dont live in those states”
The elections next year are going to cost me but we have to get rid of these people and install conservatives.
Top 2 candidates in primary advance to November . Many skip June Primary and GOP shut out of November in many areas or if too many Republicans split vote .

“A third alternative is the “modified closed primary”, as has been in effect in California since 2001. In California’s primary since 2011 the voters are allowed as individual citizens to vote for any candidate, and the top two candidates regardless of party will advance to the general election”
I thought there were rumors about Manchin becoming the new energy secretary, and Perry going over to homeland security.
Primary and Replace.
All of them.
Ping of interest.
“What can we do about California?”..... Hope that they secede.
Thanks for all your help.

California is a long term project.
It seems to me as a life long Californian that the first step is being taken. Illegal immigrants are being removed. It’s slow. We have lots of sanctuary cities. Things are winding their way through the courts. As the federal gov’t begins to hurt us by denying us funds, as they should, I am hoping more cities will get cooperative. And that finally, in an obvious move, the Supreme Court will state the obvious; cities don’t get to declare federal immigration laws null and void.
Why is this important? I don’t hate illegal immigrants; but I’ve heard the statistic that many vote; and the vote is 80% Dem. If that’s true, well, obviously, they need to go. We want free and fair elections.
Once we have free and fair elections, well, it’s back to old fashioned convincing politics.
I hope that as good R’s hold the federal government the mushy middle will see how insane the left is and start voting accordingly.
But it will be a long consistent effort.
As for seceding, do you really think the D’s want to lose California’s 53 electoral votes? They’ll never let that happen.
