My thoughts exactly. In Germany, communists started the paramilitary thug brigades before the Nazis. There are pictures of communists attacking Nazis on parade. It didn’t help. On the contrary, it gained the Nazis. Who appointed the paramilitaries guardians of anyone’s freedom or safety. The right tool to fight fascism is derisive humor. I think that’s what saved the British from their fascists.

I think the bigger question is was the CIA also involved in Charlottesville. Who picked up the mid eastern looking guy who drove one of the dodges into the protestors and was later picked up by a black suburban? Lot of stuff has the look of a duck and kinda walks like a CIA duck.....
I think some of the attendees were locals attracted by the advertised purpose of the demo but the leadership was professional and allied with Auntie Faye.
Throw the mayor in jail and figure out a way to charge him with the murder.
With someone as awful as Spencer, you can’t say “Oh, this one idea is good.”

I am sure if we look back at the roots of it there is a court case about 1st amendment and right to have Nazi rallies. and the KKK.

I think that makes sense at Charlottesville. Doesn’t take much imagination to figure out who is picking up a middle Eastern looking guy and hurrying him off who just got out of a Dodge Charger that looks a lot like the one that mowed down people.
