The “Destroy the Confederacy” nonsense will fail because you cannot destroy history. It would be so cool if only the BLM crew showed up to a circle of Houston Police standing around the statue. No counter protestors. No attention for childish antics.
Sure you can ask anyone if the founders were Christian, if they have been in school in the last 10 years they likely will tell you they were deists, and we are not and have never been a Christian Nation
