Dumping the Confederate flag and hero-worshipping statues is a winner for everyone, but going further to challenge Washington, Jefferson, and others is over the line. President Trump made that point this week and I think it is an emotional line that Democrats should back away from. They risk alienating the vast majority of Americans that are patriots, that really do believe in America, even if they’ve voted recently Democrat. Very few people are really going to want to destroy America in such a symbolic way.
It’s ironic isn’t it? Just a few years ago democrats proudly declared their party to be the Party of Jefferson. Now they want to tear down the Jefferson Memorial. Disgusting.
The left was so close to victory. With Hillary as President, her pen and a phone, they could turn American into the socialist utopia they dream of.
Instead we have President Trump.
President Trump deserves our praise for one thing, even if nothing else gets done. He has allowed the left to out themselves as extreme left who hate this nation with a passion.

Basically, he says the Democrats are playing right into the Trump administration's hands on this one. The Democrats (and many Republicans) are running around wasting their time and energy on "racial politics" -- and discrediting themselves among the vast majority of American voters in the process. The Trump administration, meanwhile, has carried on with an unwavering message built on an America-first economic policy.
Will not surprise me to see the two thug leagues in professional sports, the NFL and the NBA fall apart like a cheap Taiwanese watch. Millions,, like me, will swing 100% of their attention to college sports where team spirit and sportsmanship still matter. Screw these over-paid mongrels.
If this is the way the Democrats think they will win back the Rust Belt and make inroads in the Deep South, well, they are going to be in for a big surprise in the mid-terms!

As the Leftists see it, if Trump succeeds in MAGA, it is all over for them. They therefore are pulling out all stops in a panicked “go for broke” effort.
