I realize that this article is a few weeks old, but I just came across it and haven't seen it posted.
I find this information very concerning.

They are just stating the obvious. You are not required to testify against yourself, whether you are a cop or not. However, if you ARE a cop, you have to comply with an investigation, IF you want to keep your job.
Nothing unusual here.

Jihadist Noor is going to go scot-free on this shooting. Just a minor hiccup in his life.

Does anyone know whether any charges have been filed yet in this case? Seems like that would be normal, if he could not be immediately exonerated, then there should be charges, IMO.

Did they EVER investigate the alleged rape that prompted the call? Has a victim or witness ever come forward? With all of the publicity you would they someone would talk....
I'm sorry the killer cop is still breathing, much less still employed.

However, if he gives a statement theres another cruel twist. It can never be used in a criminal case. Even a half-assed prosecutor could pursue this case without using any statements from the police officer.

So, it’s to Mohamed’s advantage to answer any internal affairs questions as quickly and as thoroughly as possible, since nothing he says can be used against him, and his attorney can always argue in court that any evidence presented against him was based on what he said to investigators.
This would certainly be a first: a muzzie telling the truth...

There was another cop in the car who knows exactly what happened. Whether or not he tells the truth though, well, that’s a whole different story and you can bet he will be under immense pressure to exonerate the shooter.
