I really can't blame him -- especially since he doesn't mention anything about the reason(s) why he's leaving.

Personally, I would have resigned from that council as soon as we got to August 2017 and ObamaCare was still the law of the land here in the U.S. As a CEO, that would have been a clear signal to me that the U.S. government is not serious about addressing one of the single biggest costs that makes this country uncompetitive in the global marketplace.

I also would have taken the opportunity to announce that I was recommending China and Mexico as the locations of new manufacturing plants -- and identify Senators John McCain, Lisa Murkowski, and Susan Collins as the three biggest reasons why I was making that decision.

So not having a seat at the table at all is the way to go? It would be better to stay on the council and tell him, “Until Obozocare is gone, you’re not getting s#!+ out of me. Wanna honor your commitments or have every meeting be a bitch session?”
