You have a good point. And I will say I felt "privileged" when young to be able to learn to play, started in school, open to all. I don't feel I can afford it any more, am not physically fit enough to play now anyway, but our parks had a program for teens if you teed off before 10:00 on Mon and/or Tue you got on the course for 25 cents. Played every chance I got.

I got my last clubs at a pawn shop, loved them. I never had a complete set.

BTW, we walked, sometimes 18 holes in steaming heat. They probably don't allow it any more. And you forgot cart fees ;-(.

Like to illustrate my posts sometimes. A misty October morning in 2005. Look like white men to me. Can't really tell for sure. Hmmmmmmm.

Golf Carts

Because I never played on a golf course! I always drove the beer cart at charity events.
