"Euphoric, narcotic, pleasantly hallucinant"—that's what Mustapha says of soma. It's arguably the best tool the government has for controlling its population. It sedates, calms, and most importantly distracts a person from realizing that there's actually something very, very wrong—namely, that the citizens of the World State are enslaved"

Great time to don the tinfoil hat!
You thought public water was safe?
Remember the map last election with all that blue in urban areas?
Oddly enough, that’s also the areas where there is more public water than private well systems.
Something in the water there other than flouride, or is flouride the culprit?

So now European women will feel dreamy and serene while being raped by a group of “South Asian youths” who are classified as being 13 by government officials but who are,in fact,in their mid 20’s.

So now stupid krauts can be happy as their women and children are being raped and assulted. How about getting rid of the problem?

“humans tend to be generally kinder to friends and family than strangers.”
Name a creature that isn’t. It seems to be a survival characteristic.

Rulers who rule by keeping the masses in an ignorant state of bliss are more difficult to counter than those who rule by blatant naked force. The BNW scenario is more applicable to post-WWII (and especially post Cold War) western Europe and the United States than a Soviet or Nazi-type totalitarian model.
When we started seeing every other elementary and middle school boy put on Ritalin for the crime of acting as boys have always acted, I knew that similar state sanctioned mind-numbing drugs for inconvenient adults wouldn't be far behind. So now Germany has it.

The suggestion that Westerners should be given drugs to make them more welcoming to foreigners is likely to be hugely controversial.Hugely controversial, might be a bit of an understatement. It really, honestly does look like Europe is run by a bunch of certified lunatics.

I have a 50s radio adaptation of that book, and before it starts Huxley makes a few comments. He said he wrote it for a warning and that that world was much nearer than he originally thought.

Put it into the beer. M*slims supposedly don’t drink alcohol. The Germans will slowly find themselves loving the M*slims, welcoming them into their house, willingly paying more in taxes for their upkeep, willingly offering their virgin daughters for the pleasure of the M*slims. After all, this is about replacing the Germans with M*slims. Better to have the Germans happy about it.

A couple of weeks ago I thought up the idea of an oxytocin-laced vaping liquid, mostly as a joke.
When I first read the title, I thought they were going for something stronger, like forcefeeding Ecstasy to the population. Life would be one big rave.

Germany Experimenting With Mind-Altering Love Drugs To Make People More Accepting Of Migrants Sounds like the plot of the movie "Serenity".
It didn't work out so well in the movie. I don't think it's going to work out very well in real life either.
