The Democratic Party paranoia about " Russia hacking" is just a ploy.....to give the federal government control over state elections. Voters MUST demand the details of Obama's DHS hacking into state election systems.

REMINDER This is the same DHS that told us "Russia tried to hack into state election systems".......the same DHS that can “plant” Russian fingerprints after hacking to confuse investigators.

Obama’s henchmen had already colluded to probe Georgia’s voter database and probably had multiple dirty tricks ready to go.

Jeh Johnson and Obama's unauthorized attempt to breach 2016 electoral data is an outrage. Georgia reported DHS made 10 separate attempts to sully Georgia's electoral data.

The secretary of state of Georgia is asking the Department of Homeland Security to explain what appears to be an attempted breach of the state’s computer systems that house its voter registration database by someone in the federal government.

In a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson dated Thursday, Georgia’s Secretary of State Brian Kemp said the state had discovered an unsuccessful attempt to breach the firewall of state computer systems. The attempt occurred on Nov. 15 and was linked to an IP address associated with DHS, he said.

“At no time has my office agreed to or permitted DHS to conduct penetration testing or security scans of our network,” wrote Mr. Kemp, a Republican. “Moreover, your department has not contacted my office since this unsuccessful incident to alert us of any security event that would require testing or scanning of our network.”

“We are looking into the matter. DHS takes the trust of our public and private sector partners seriously, and we will respond to Secretary Kemp directly,” a spokeswoman for DHS said.

Obama Administration Plotting to Usurp Control Over Elections

Under the guise of providing increased “security” for “critical infrastructure,” the Obama administration is plotting to insert itself and the federal government into the American elections process.

While voting is constitutionally the responsibility of state and local officials, Obama’s Homeland Security Secretary, Jeh Johnson, pointed to the alleged threat of cyberattacks to justify the latest proposed usurpation of power.

The controversial scheme was floated amid growing national concerns, fueled in part by GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s warnings of a “rigged” election, that America’s electoral system might be vulnerable to major manipulation. Critics and experts, though, warned that the White House scheming may be a first step toward illegally nationalizing the electoral process — with all the dangers that would entail.

Homeland Security boss Johnson, a leading luminary behind Obama’s illegal amnesty plot, has said repeatedly said in recent weeks that the administration was thinking of issuing a decree declaring elections to be “critical infrastructure” in need of supposed federal oversight and “protection.”

“We should carefully consider whether our election system, our election process is critical infrastructure, like the financial sector, like the power grid,” Johnson told reporters in Washington earlier this month. “There’s a vital national interest in our electoral process.”

Secretaries of state — the top election officials in 40 states — told The Daily Caller they were shocked to learn of Jeanette Manfra's testimony at a June 21, 2017 hearing of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

“We can’t find any secretaries of state who say they have been told (by DHS) they are part of this list of ‘targeted’ states.” said a spokeswoman for the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS), representing top state election officials in all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia and US territories.

The bombshell testimony of Jeanette Manfra, Obama's acting deputy undersecretary for cybersecurity and communications, at DHS’s National Protection and Programs Directorate, stunned NAAS. “We have evidence of election-related systems in 21 states that were targeted (by Russians),” Manfra said.

It’s been a year and no credible evidence of Russian involvement in “leaked” DNC e-mail has turned up. Meanwhile, the DNC hired foreign contractors, contractors who were given other people’s passwords, contractors who had access to DNC e-mail systems, contractors who sent information to illegal off site systems, contractors who hid machines in crevices, contractors who met with people in contact with wikileaks, contractors and who have fled the country - those contractors had nothing do with leaked DNC e-mail.

Now what I really think happened is pretty close to the Russian double cross, but not quite. I doubt we will ever know the real story, but here is my version.

I think Obama got wind that the Ruskies might hack the election, but he kept quiet about it, assuming the Russians would go for Hillary being the candidate further to the left. But, just in case, the Democrats started talking about Russian hacking well before the election as a fall back in case the Russians decided to back Trump for some unexpected reason.

So if the Russians went for Hillary as expected, mum’s the word. If Trump won, well we saw what happened there, only it would have been more-better if they found actually found something.

But the underlying Democrat assumption was that Russia would hack something related to the election. The Democrats even went so far as to leak some of their own internal emails, which they figured to blame on Russia and add to the story.

Then Russia let them down and did nothing, probably figuring they would get blamed for it. The irony is that they did anyway, Trump was maneuvered into putting sanctions on Russia, ostensibly because of their interference in the election, but in reality for screwing up all the Democarp best laid plans by doing nothing.

Amen to that. I used to refer to him and his crew as the terror cell occupying the White House, only half jokingly.

I don't always agree with everything Trump does, but at least he is trying to stop us circling the drain of history. It is sad to me the number of people on both sides opposed to his goals.
