The establishment has moved in to the Administration. Say what you will about General Flynn, but he didn’t want to intervene. He believed in what Trump ran on. McMaster is a neoconservative. He believes in intervening and nation building, and his philosophy is much different than Trump. The same liberals that want to purge Flynn, Bannon, Gorka, Miller, etc. and are allying with the neocons because they are Republicans that bash Trump are going to then be angry and blame Trump when we get into another war.
My hope is that Trump doesn’t do this. If we want to send them food and supplies to help the suffering, that’s fine, but we can’t get involved in another war.
