Andrea Parker at :30)...The actual lawyers (defense lawyers)...the lawyers put the judge back in her place saying that if they are asking.....
(at :53) if they (prosecutors and judge) are trying to say that they are doing something wrong by defending their clients that the lawyers are asking for lawyers because they feel the judge is threatening them for defending their clients.
(at 1:40)....At that point she asks Scott (Scott Drexler, defendant) if he wants to testify. He says 'Yes, I do want to testify. I feel that the court is forcing me to testify.
She says 'You are not being forced to testify'....
(at 1:57)....(Scott Drexler quoted) 'I need to talk about things that need to be brought up and I feel that my hands are tied' The judge then says to him 'The court is not forcing you to testify'.....
(at 2:09) (Scott Drexler quoted) 'I need to bring these things up' and she (Judge Gloria Navarro) tells you 'No, the court is not forcing you to testify. Quit saying that'.
(at 2:15) (Scott Drexler quoted) 'I just want to put it on the record that I feel I am not being allowed to put forth my defense'.

They say they need lawyers in the face of her threats of sanction on them.
Very Soviet of her, it seems.
But eventually another defendant after being given a pre-interview by Judge Navarro, Scott Drexler, was being prepared and the jury brought in to hear what little, if any, he will likely be allowed to say.
Judge Navarro kept contesting his statement before the jury came in that he was forced to testify. But he indeed feels he was forced since the prosecution asked and the judge went along banning all witnesses the defense wanted from testifying before the jury.
Andrea Parker's video was cut off at this point around 2 minutes and 50 seconds in.
Video transmission has been very difficult from the courthouse area in Vegas today.
The report from ‘Arizona Central’ (MSM) is that the defense wants a mistrial.
It says Navarro backed away from a prosecution request to have defense lawyers closing arguments ‘previewed’ by the judge before they can be presented to the jury aka “censored”.
But Navarro responded to the call by defense lawyers for a mistrial by blaming the defense lawyers for any problems with the trial.
