Governmental Tort Claims Act of Oklahoma limits the amount a political subdivision can be sued. And it goes by population of the County, so Hollis, being in the lower division by population, was limited to $125,000.
They brought the suit because once she got convicted it was automatic (nearly) that they would get a judgment against the School District and that the School District had the ability to pay the judgment.
So, if the attorney had it on a .40 contingency, they probably got close to $75,000.
Oh. Thanks for explaining.
I’m not joking when I say this: Nymphomania is a tragedy for those aflicted with it. As a young man, my friends and I all joked about finding a nymphomaniac and what heaven it would be. But anyone married to one can attest to the challenges it brings, and, of course some of them can tell you how difficult it can make life.
Not that this teacher is one, but it’s no laughing matter, regardless.
BTW, I found out there is no such thing as a male nymphomaniac because all males fit the description. It is simply the male condition - but we have also been given the ability to handle it psychologically.
MACHO MACHO
The sex disease these minor kids contracted, will last for a lifetime. Fathers who tell their sons to go chase girls is disgusting. Rah, rah, rah. Macho, macho, macho.
Macho Dads really need to ask their sons what permanent disease they have. And treat the chase more like a relationship. Because humping disease doesn’t bring peace.
Boy the truth is you only ned one girl, and perferably disease free. The more you chase, the more diseased you will be.
Lock the teachers up for 20 years. Having power over others worsens the penalty.
Sets a precedent for my gold diggers
Sounds like the taxpayers are the one’s who got screwed.
Now THAT is a good idea. Otherwise, the million dollar order from an imprisoned criminal is farcical.
